Our volunteers

The theatre is supported by over 100 volunteers who give their time for free on a regular basis to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We acknowledge that the time is spent as volunteers at the theatre is our leisure time; and we always seek to provide a ‘fun environment’ for our volunteers to work in.

Like all voluntary groups the theatre always needs help, and there are always jobs to do. We need help with the Box Office, Kiosk, Stewarding, helping backstage, maintenance – the tasks are almost endless. If you would like to try us out – please speak to one of the Stewards in the theatre foyer or to a member of the Box Office team.

By providing all aspects of the theatre experience to our volunteers, combined with relaxed atmosphere; we aim to encourage and stimulate further interest in the theatre from all parts of the community.
