"In the Flesh" The Pink Floyd Show

In the Flesh present a spectacular stage presentation of over two and a half hours featuring tracks from Pink Floyd's classic albums from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn through to A Saucerful of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
Launched in early 2007 and based in the South West of England, they have received glowing praise for their accurate renditions of Pink Floyd's timeless music. This isn’t an over-blown hi-fi extravaganza, which can be heard elsewhere, but an authentic excursion into Pink Floyd’s most creative period from the mid-sixties to early eighties using original instruments and analogue equipment - including valve amps and a Hammond organ – that defined the true Pink Floyd sound.
In The Flesh continue to tour the UK to glowing praise for their attention to detail with a hugely impressive sound – this seven piece band is complimented by a saxophonist and backing vocalists as well as a lighting rig that features the trademark circular projection screen.
This is an amazing show for all Floyd fans and is not to be missed!

Once again we have in excess of 50 singers and the structure of our show remains the same i.e. 'ancient and modern' so to speak.

It is a major challenge once again and we will have our work cut out in order to maintain our standards.

Following on from their recent productions of Les Miserables and Billy Elliot, Warminster School is proud and delighted to be staging their first production at the Memorial Theatre with Walt Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

The show is the musical stage adaptation of the company's hit animated feature from 1991, featuring Alan Menken's Academy Award-winning score, songs by the late Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (including the Academy Award-winning title song and the show-stopping 'Be Our Guest'), plus songs written especially for the stage by Alan Menken and Tim Rice (including 'If I Can't Love Her' and 'A Change In Me').

Audiences have the opportunity to catch one of Tchaikovsky’s world famous classical ballets The Sleeping Beauty when the highly acclaimed Vienna Festival Ballet Company return to town.
The enchanting tale of Sleeping Beauty is one of the best-loved ballets and centres around the beautiful princess Aurora, her long sleep after pricking her finger and her awakening by Prince Florimund.

Frome Town Youth Band

Frome Town Youth Band comprises of over 50 members ranging from 8 years old to adult. 
Our annual Christmas concert promises to be a light hearted and entertaining evening featuring a wide selection of musical styles.
The first half of the evening will comprise of some swing numbers together with a range of up-to-date music.
Christmas music will be the main focus of the second half where the band will play a variety of seasonal music together with some traditional carols.
As well as whole band pieces, there will be some solo musicians staring, together with some vocal performances.
The whole evening will be thoroughly entertaining and will offer plenty of audience participation to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!
