Box Office Opening Times:

Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 1.00pm – Except Bank Holidays.
On show nights the Box Office opens 1 hour before the performance.

A £1.50 transaction charge is added per booking for our restoration fund to assist with ongoing restoration projects within the theatre.

Ticket Charges Change:

From the 9th May 2022Due to the increases in the cost of running The Memorial Theatre we have had to look at all our expenses. We are therefore adding a £1.50 per ticket transaction charge onto all tickets purchased through our box office. This will bring the box office inline with our online system where the £1.50 per ticket charge has been in place for several years. We are however going to ‘cap’ these charges at £9.00, therefore the £1.50 charge will only apply to the first 6 tickets purchased in a single transaction.

Booking Online

Tickets purchased online will incur a non-refundable processing fee of £1.50 per ticket. ‘Capped at £9.00 therefore the £1.50 charge will only apply to the first 6 tickets purchased in a single transaction.

Our internet sales are hosted by an external organisation and the fee covers the cost of providing an internet service. The transaction will appear on your account statement as Tickets.com.

Presentation of your confirmation e-mail as proof of purchase will be requested for all tickets collected at the Box Office.

If tickets are to be posted a charge of £1.00 will be added.

Dancing: Whilst the venue is a seated venue, some shows encourage the audience to get out of their seats and dance. In general we do not prevent customers from doing this as we wish our audience members to have a good time and enjoy the show.
If a member of the audience is being unruly or inappropriate, we may ask them to sit down or remove them from the auditorium. As a general rule, if you do not wish to dance or if you do not want the possibility of an obstructed view of the stage due to other audience members stood or dancing, we recommend that you purchase tickets in the Stalls from Row K backwards, or in the Balcony.

Refunds will not be given on the basis that other members of the audience were obstructing views due to standing or dancing.
